Biography
Biographical background
Carolina Abril is a Spanish former porn actress and streamer, born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on 19 July 1992. Her adult film work developed during the 2010s. In November 2020 she announced her withdrawal from pornographic shoots, first on Twitch and then on social media. That announcement concerns her work performing in adult productions, rather than the disappearance of previously filmed material or its subsequent editions.[1]
Studios and international collaborations
In 2013 she won La Mansión de Nacho, an online programme directed by actor and filmmaker Nacho Vidal. The project belongs to a period in which she expanded her collaborations within Spain. She also worked for companies distributing beyond Spain, including Evil Angel, Girlfriends Films, Brazzers, Lust Films and Private.
Her credits include Party House and Hard Academy. Her filmography thus documents work with several labels and directors rather than a single studio contract. Editions and compilations distributed after her withdrawal may contain material from her earlier shooting period.[1][7][3]
Awards, nominations and the press
She received XBIZ nominations for Foreign Female Performer of the Year in 2014 and 2016. Those are nominations, distinct from awards won. Her Spanish record includes Ninfa distinctions, including Best Actress in 2015 and several audience awards. She also appeared on the cover of Interviú issue 2069 in December 2015. These references document her industry and press presence in the middle of the 2010s.[1]
Studios and documented professional credits
The catalogue for Carolina Abril includes studio labels such as Evil Angel, Reality Kings, Porndoe. These names come from the title references and provide a route through the production or distribution networks associated with this career. The directory records 42 acting credits, keeping each professional function separate. The same title can therefore account for more than one credit. These figures describe the entries currently documented here; they are neither a count of new shoots nor a measure of career length. Original productions, reissues and compilations need to be distinguished using the individual references. A studio label alone does not establish an exclusive contract or an employer relationship.[3][7]

Career and professional background
Connections with Spanish production
Carolina Abril’s participation in La Mansión de Nacho places her within a production network associated with Nacho Vidal. Her later work for several studios shows that her career was not confined to that programme. Her activities combined Spanish productions, films distributed through international labels and press appearances. Her Ninfa awards and XBIZ nominations belong to different settings of professional recognition, Spanish and international respectively.[1]
Leaving film shoots and streaming
Her November 2020 announcement was made on Twitch, placing streaming within her public career at the point of transition. She also worked as a streamer after her acting activity. This changed the format and nature of her work without establishing dates for every later media appearance. Her professional history distinguishes the production period of films, any later releases and her appearances on live-streaming platforms.[1]
