Biography
An Italian performer active from 1996 to 2017
Franco Trentalance is an Italian former porn actor and director from Bologna. His adult-film career began in 1996 and ended in January 2017. Before filming, he worked as a bartender and as an archery instructor in tourist resorts. He subsequently worked in adult cinema in Italy and abroad. Catalogues list productions under his stage name and several spelling variations, which need to be connected when following the same performing career.[1][2][4]
Film and television work
His filmography includes productions such as Italian Beauty, Lulu and Army Nurse, alongside titles distributed by European studios. He also worked as a director. During the 2000s, his public work expanded into television and radio. In 2008, he participated in the third season of the Italian reality competition La Talpa. Entertainment programmes and interviews became another part of his career. Those appearances belong to a different body of work from his pornographic films, but are part of the documented professional record.[2][3][4][5][6]
Writing and work after adult-film shoots
Trentalance has published fiction and books addressing his experience or personal development. He co-wrote Tre giorni di buio with Gianluca Versace in 2015. Further publications include Il guardiano del parco with Marco Limberti and Seduzione magnetica in 2018. His work after adult films includes public speaking, stage appearances and media collaborations. Leaving pornographic film shoots therefore did not mean withdrawing from professional public activity.[2][4]
Studios and documented professional credits
The catalogue for Franco Trentalance includes studio labels such as H2 Video, Private, Sins Pictures. These names come from the title references and provide a route through the production or distribution networks associated with this career. The directory records 110 acting credits, keeping each professional function separate. The same title can therefore account for more than one credit. These figures describe the entries currently documented here; they are neither a count of new shoots nor a measure of career length. Original productions, reissues and compilations need to be distinguished using the individual references. A studio label alone does not establish an exclusive contract or an employer relationship.[4][8]

Career and professional background
A transition already underway before 2017
Television, radio and publishing entered Franco Trentalance’s career before his final adult-film shoots. His appearance on La Talpa in 2008 and the publication of Tre giorni di buio in 2015 preceded his January 2017 retirement. That chronology shows that his other occupations did not all begin after leaving adult cinema. He pursued several activities concurrently, subsequently continuing work connected with writing and public appearances.[2][4]
Fiction, conversation and performance
His literary projects include collaborations with Gianluca Versace and Marco Limberti. Thrillers, horror fiction and personal-development writing represent different genres within his bibliography. He also developed public conversation and interview formats, including La Cena afrodisiaca and Chiacchiere private. Radio collaborations and television appearances extended that communication work. These are professional activities distinct from his earlier credits as an adult-film actor and director.[2][4]
