Biography

An Italian actor also credited as Malcolm

Francesco Malcom is an Italian porn actor born in Bari on 27 November 1971. His birth name is Francesco Trulli. Credits also use the spelling Francesco Malcolm and several variations found in film credits and catalogues. He began his professional career in 1992. His 1990s work connects him to Italian and French productions, followed by collaborations continuing into later decades. His acting career therefore spans several European production markets.[1][2]

Work in Italy and France

He has worked with Mario Salieri and Joe D’Amato, as well as Marc Dorcel, Christophe Clark and John B. Root. His performing career also intersects with Rocco Siffredi and Roberto Malone. Documented titles include Betty Blue and Betty Blue 2, Fuga dall’Albania and Stavros. His work with John B. Root includes 24 heures d’amour, Une nuit au bordel and Ludivine. Those credits show recurring relationships with particular directors alongside projects made with other French and Italian teams.[1][3][4]

Short films and television productions

Malcom has also appeared in works beyond adult feature films. In 1998, he appeared in Good Boys Use Condoms by Lucile Hadzihalilovic and Le Ramoneur des Lilas by Cédric Klapisch. His later credits include Liberté sexuelle, a television film directed by Ovidie. He reunited with John B. Root on EquinoXe alongside Titof; references distinguish the 2015 shoot from the television film’s 2017 release. These formats add to his European career and explain the range of works represented in his filmography.[1]

Studios and documented professional credits

The catalogue for Francesco Malcom includes studio labels such as Private, In-X-Cess, X-Cel. These names come from the title references and provide a route through the production or distribution networks associated with this career. The directory records 125 acting credits, keeping each professional function separate. The same title can therefore account for more than one credit. These figures describe the entries currently documented here; they are neither a count of new shoots nor a measure of career length. Original productions, reissues and compilations need to be distinguished using the individual references. A studio label alone does not establish an exclusive contract or an employer relationship.[4]

Career and professional background

Repeated collaborations with John B. Root

Work with John B. Root links several periods in Francesco Malcom’s career: 24 heures d’amour in the 1990s, followed by Une nuit au bordel, Ludivine and EquinoXe. These are separately documented titles rather than a single production republished under different names. They establish a continuing professional relationship within a career also including films directed by Mario Salieri, Marc Dorcel and Christophe Clark.[1][4]

A European catalogue across formats

His appearances in shorts by Lucile Hadzihalilovic and Cédric Klapisch add another format to his acting work. The television films Liberté sexuelle and EquinoXe extend that range. Malcom and Malcolm are variations of the same stage name and should not create separate biographies. Following his career consequently involves connecting French and Italian credits and distinguishing filming dates from broadcast dates where the references establish both.[1][2]
